Perth's Secret Garden - Careniup Wetlands

Perth's Secret Garden is a little alcove of pretty vines and native trees. It is also amazing what a little golden light during golden hour can do. This little 'Secret Garden' - although not quite resembling that of the movie with a green door, a key and pretty flowers, is located in Careniup Wetlands and has been a haven for photographers wanting something a little magical. 

It is easy to imagine wood sprites and faeries living in the ivy of these wetlands and all in all if you feel like a little adventure why not swing past? Take a pair of gumboots though, especially if it's been recently raining otherwise your log hopping skills will get a bit of a refresh.
