Batu Caves
This 100 year old temple features three major caves and a number of smaller ones. If you're game, try climbing up the 272 steps to the top.
Chinatown
Because you simply can't miss a visit to the bargainer's paradise. There are rows and rows of stalls selling anything from bao to seafood and at nght transforms into a vibrant night market.
Jalan Alor
If you're in KL and hankering for some hawker food, you can't miss Jalan Alor in the Golden Triangle. You'll find bright fluorescent lights pointing you in the direction of the best wonton mee, mini red lanterns strung from trees and plastic tables and chairs that spill out haphazardly onto the road.
Menara KL Tower
Easily the best view of the city, Menara is a well-loved tower in KL. The viewing deck is at least 100 metres higher than that of the Petronas Twin Towers and plays host to a revolving 360 degree restaurant.
Petronas Twin Towers
These iconic towers are the world's tallest twin towers, joint at the 41st and 42nd floors by the Sky bridge 175 metres above the ground. Offering amazing views of the city (and often an amazing sight to behold in itself) it's something you have to at least do once in KL.
Sunway Lagoon Theme Park
There is a man-made surfing beach here in the middle of Petaling aya. It's a huge attraction, with the theme-park encompassing a water-park, scream park, amusement park, wildlife park and extreme park. There are huge waterslides, crazy wildlife adventures and multiple ways to cool down on a hot day.
Sultan Abdul Samad
Awesome in architecture, the now home to the Ministry of Information, Communications and Culture of Malaysia is neighbours to the old railway station. Take a walk along its graceful arches and peer inside one of Malaysia's historical landmarks in the city.
